Get to know a little about the United Nation's SDG #1: No Poverty
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call of action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace, prosperity and rich life.
The SDGs are universal in scope, and their call to leave no one behind puts the world’s most vulnerable and marginalized people at the top of the agenda.
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is at the forefront of international organizations helping Egypt achieve economic stability and poverty reduction.
Sustainable development is the main focus of Egypt's Vision 2030 that aims to make the Egyptian people self-sufficient on the long term.
Egypt’s innovations in poverty eradication are unique as manifested in individual, entrepreneurial growth in the private sphere and collective, righteous leadership in the public sphere.
