In 1999 a charity club called ASCC for Help was established, as a student activity at Egyptian universities. The purpose of the club is not just about living for you; it's about living for others. This can be achieved when you help those in need and get contact with those who suffer the most in doing so you get the greatest joy you could ever feel, one that is true and rare to find

They have a diverse range of events addressing poverty in Egypt. These events include blood donations, visits to orphanages visits and Ramadan bags financial aid for brides, painting of beds, mattresses, blankets for the needy.

ASCC for Help are known for their helpful and generous events. They start their activities just before Eid al Fitr by the free clothes exhibition held in rural towns like Korimat and Atfeeh. They also support some families with blankets and beds in the winter, but ASCC volunteers have to study their cases first to make sure that those families are really in need for these blankets and beds.

As all Muslims know, Ramadan is the most preferred month in the year, for charity. Due to the spread of poverty in Egypt some people cannot afford to meet their needs during that month. In response, ASCC brave volunteers the proceed to rural areas to distribute Ramadan bags. Those bags contain food supplies as pasta, rice, oil and In addition to white and red meat and plenty of good food choices. Last Ramadan, ASCC for Help – MIU, distributed more than 1,000 bags to help people feed their families all through the holy month.

In 2021, especially on the 7th of Ramadan, the ASCC-MIU youth slaughtered a sacrifice to distribute meat for the poor in the village of Korimat they set up another convoy on the 26th of Ramadan to distribute food to other needy families.

Could you imagine sleeping in house under no roof?

The most important event for those noble heroes is to build roofs for poor people to help them sleep comfortably and safely.

Finally they end their astonishing year by making a huge event called "the wedding". They gather girls who were raised in orphanages, girls in one place the club organize a big wedding ceremony for them. Before the wedding, ASCC for Help provides financial and in-kind assistance to the girls to help them buy all that they need for their new homes.
